What shapes the proposal

What affects the price.

  1. Number of users

    Each package covers a range of users. More people means more accounts, permissions and training.

  2. Data migration

    Moving a few tidy spreadsheets is quick. Years of history across several systems takes longer to clean and check.

  3. Integrations

    Connecting to accounting software, portals or legacy systems adds work, depending on what those systems allow.

  4. Custom workflows

    Steps, approvals and reports that are specific to how you work are built for you, and scoped in the proposal.

Pricing questions

Questions about pricing.

Is there a contract, and what is the notice period?

Every engagement starts with a written proposal and a signed agreement. StridProp subscriptions have a 12-month initial term; after that, either side can end it with 30 days' written notice. Custom projects start with a 50% deposit, with the balance on agreed milestones, then a monthly care plan.

What does the monthly fee cover?

Hosting, support from a named person who replies the same working day (South African time), and fixes when something does not work as it should. The Group package and care plans also include change hours each month. Clients in other time zones: we agree response hours in your contract.

What is a change hour?

An hour of developer time for small changes after go-live: a new field, an adjusted report, an extra step in a workflow. Larger changes are quoted separately before any work starts.

Who owns the data and the code?

You own your data and can export it at any time in a standard format. Under POPIA you are the responsible party, and we process it only on your instruction. Stridman retains ownership of the StridProp product code. For custom builds, source-code handover or escrow is available and agreed per project.

What happens if we cancel?

After StridProp's 12-month initial term, give us 30 days' written notice. You can export your data in a standard format at any time, including before you leave. Care plans for custom builds are agreed per project.

Are these prices quotes?

No. They are starting prices for a standard setup, in South African rand and excluding VAT. After a call and a demo we send a written proposal with the exact figure, usually within 24 hours.
