Last updated 8 October 2026. This policy explains how Stridman Pty (Ltd) (Reg. No. 2026/723128/07) ("Stridman", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
1. What personal information we collect
Enquiry forms. Our contact, StridProp, for-firms and partner forms ask for your name, surname, email and, optionally, your organisation and phone number. Depending on the form, they may also ask for your sector, company size, number of users, current software and a short message.
POPIA checklist. To send you the checklist we ask for your name, email and, optionally, your agency, and record the time you gave consent.
Calculator and package helper. The CRM cost calculator and the "Which package is right for me?" helper run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or choose in them is stored or sent to us.
Bookings, email and WhatsApp. Our booking page is embedded from Calendly, which collects the details you enter there. If you email or message us, we receive what you send.
Client engagements. Once you engage us to build or run a system, we may process business data you provide, which can include personal information about your own customers or staff. In that relationship you (the client) remain the responsible party under POPIA, and we act as an operator, processing it only on your instruction and for the purpose you engaged us for.
2. Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use enquiry and booking details to reply to you and to take the steps you ask for before entering into an agreement. This is necessary for a contract you are asking us to consider, and is covered by your consent when you submit a form.
We use checklist details to send you the checklist you asked for, on the basis of the consent you give on that form.
We process client project data under instruction from, and for the duration of, our contract with the client.
We use aggregated analytics on a legitimate-interest basis, to keep the site fast and useful. It is not used to identify individual visitors.
3. Who processes it for us, and where
We use the providers below. We do not claim that all data stays in South Africa.

The PropertySouthAfrica CRM database is hosted in South Africa on Xneelo; for other clients the hosting region is agreed per project. This website, its enquiry database, email and bookings use the international providers above. Where an AI feature uses an external model provider, the content you submit may be processed outside South Africa. We tell you which providers we use and process only on your instruction.
Where personal information is processed outside South Africa, POPIA requires that it be subject to protection at least equivalent to POPIA's conditions, through the provider's legal safeguards or our agreement with them.
4. Visitors outside South Africa
Stridman Pty (Ltd) is based in South Africa and works with clients in South Africa and internationally. If you use this website or contact us from another country, your information is processed in South Africa and by the providers listed in section 3, in the countries shown there.
This policy is written under South Africa's POPIA. We do not claim compliance with the data-protection laws of other countries. Wherever you are, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing connect@stridman.com.
5. Cookies and analytics
This site does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising or tracking pixels. Fonts are served from our own domain.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load. Neither uses cookies, and the figures are aggregated. We also record a small number of anonymous events, without any personal information:
- Book a call link clicked (which page)
- WhatsApp link clicked (which page)
- Pricing viewed (which page)
- Enquiry submitted (which form)
- Booking type chosen (20 or 60 minutes)
- Checklist requested and checklist download
- Calculator used
- Pricing helper result (which package)
- Demo click and demo play
The Calendly booking calendar on our Book a call page is provided by Calendly and may set its own cookies inside the calendar. It only loads on that page.
6. Marketing and unsubscribing
We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. Replying to your enquiry, and emailing you the checklist you asked for, are not marketing. If we ever start a newsletter, we will ask for your consent separately.
Every checklist email contains a link to remove your details. You can also email connect@stridman.com at any time and we will delete them.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking details that do not turn into a client relationship are kept for up to 12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
Checklist requests are kept for up to 12 months, unless you remove them sooner.
Client project data is kept for the duration of the engagement, plus any period we are required to retain records under South African law (for example, financial and tax records are generally retained for 5 years).
You can ask us to delete information sooner, subject to any legal or contractual obligation we have to keep it.
8. Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to the data we store is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. Our security page describes how the site and the systems we build are protected.
9. Your rights under POPIA
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- be notified that we hold personal information about you and why;
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct, update or delete personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading, or that we obtained unlawfully;
- object to the processing of your personal information;
- object to your information being used for direct marketing;
- withdraw any consent you have given us, at any time, for future processing; and
- lodge a complaint with us, or directly with the Information Regulator (details below).
